Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët (/noˈmi̽jvu/ /ˈvreho̠/ [bright] [proof]) is a subtropical Town located in the Brotlëftavremōf Moot of the Viceroyalty of Rosid.

The name Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët was founded by Jane Neerlush, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët was founded durring the early 11th century, by Jane Neerlush. The establishment of Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Your first impression of Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët proves to be right on the money. This town is where the rebels chose to settle. Fashion trends are quite simply the opposite of what’s popular in the other nearby communities. THis trend extends everywhere. Things that should be black are white, what would normally be square is organically curved, and what is typically unthinkable for polite society is more than welcome in this public square. Up to the logical limits, of course. There’s no flaying someone alive to eat their skin going on, but the women are dressed a little immodestly, the men are a little more emotional, and the food is all overly complex and terrible.

Cultural Notes

The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.

Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by towering round arches, massive stone and brickwork, small windows, thick walls, and a propensity for housing art and sculpture depicting mythological scenes. The building's general shape would be a clever and ascetic combination of geometric shapes, which would be blended together by joining elements. The style's decorative features were largely internal rather than external and incorporated semicircular arches for windows, doors, and arcades; barrel or groin vaults to support the roof of the nave; massive piers and walls, with few windows, to contain the outward thrust of the vaults; side aisles with galleries above them..

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët lost 251 people, 200 livestock, and 89 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 113, when members of Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët's militia enacted an operation to delay the operations of the enemy. The operation was complicated by the army's activities draw the wrath of formerly neutral parties. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a stalemate for Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Nomi̽yvu Vreho̠ Vrët's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
